Remember, remember the fifth of September…that’s how it goes, right? Regardless, the fifth of September marks a momentous day for AZMagicPlayers – the 2015 Legacy Series Masters! Players have gone to event after event in an effort to qualify for this one tournament. We’ve reached out to a number of them, let’s get to know them!

I don’t plan on switching decks for this tournament.

You are in charge of the next ban/unban. What changes do you make?

Don’t ban Sensei’s Divining Top.

What is your most memorable Legacy moment (does not have to be Legacy Series-specific)?

I remember playing someone borrowing Nick Gil’s ANT deck, and the first time he plays the deck he casts Ad Nauseum on turn one. At one life, instead of waiting a turn to kill me, he flips the next card and his the Lion’s Eye Diamond to kill me on the spot.

UWR Delver up until the Treasure Cruise Ban then I swapped to Miracles

RUG Delver

How does knowing who is qualified affect your deck choice, if at all?

It does not affect my deck choice. It may affect some of my sideboard cards but I believe that my deck is flexible enough to have a decent game against most matchups present.

No changes

What is your most memorable Legacy moment (does not have to be Legacy Series-specific)?

I do not have any specific moments but blind flipping to counter a spell with Counterbalance
