Starting in just a couple weeks will be madness. Legacy madness, that is. Over a 7 week span, we will be hosting four 2014 Legacy Series Events. Take a look at the final stretch:

July 27th – Pop Culture Paradise, Tempe, AZ
August 9th – Play or Draw, Avondale, AZ
August 16th – The Geekery, Flagstaff, AZ
September 6th – AZMagicPlayers.com 2014 Legacy Series CHAMPIONSHIPS! Desert Sky Games, Gilbert, AZ
We are VERY excited for these last couple events. Not only will we be seeing a ton of Legacy action in the coming weeks, but the prizes are going to be insane! Every regular Legacy Series event has upgraded prize support from our original announcement – take a look! The red indicates what has been added to the prize pool:
July 27th – Pop Culture Paradise, Tempe, AZ
1st Place: 1 Revised Bayou + OVERSIZED PLAYMAT
2nd Place: 1 Flooded Strand
As usual, more prizes based on attendance. One lucky player who did not make the Top 8 at the end of the Swiss rounds will receive a box of M15!
August 9th – Play or Draw, Avondale, AZ
1st Place: 1 Underground Sea
2nd Place: 1 Tropical Island
3rd/4th Place: Playoff for choice of 1 Flooded Strand or 1 Plateau
If this event gets over 70 players the entire Top 8 will get a dual land!
August 16th – The Geekery, Flagstaff, AZ
1st: Tropical Island + 5 packs of Onslaught + 5 packs of Zendikar
2nd: Flooded Strand + 5 packs of Onslaught + 5 packs of Zendikar
3rd-4th: $40 store credit + 2 Onslaught + 2 Zendikar
5th-8th: $10 store credit + 1 Onslaught + 1 Zendikar
9th-16th: 1 pack of each
Hopefully this announcement is posted early enough in time for you all to find a Legacy deck! If you don’t have a Legacy deck and can’t get one in time, we are happy to announce a 100% proxy Legacy side event for the Flagstaff August event!

4 Rounds of Swiss, prize payout:
4-0-0: 12 packs
3-0-1: 9 packs
3-1-0: 6 packs
2-1-1: 3 packs
Packs may be from any Standard legal set.
Proxy rules: Proxies must be printed (either black and white or color), 100% of your deck may be proxied.

* To qualify for reduced entry fee you must have 10 or more Legacy Series points by September 5th, 2014. However if you achieve 10 or more Legacy Series points during the Legacy Series Championships, you can purchase playmats and t-shirts for the reduced price until December 31st, 2014.

1st Place: Choice of 4 FORCE OF WILL or 4 WASTELAND and the AZMagicPlayers.com 2014 Legacy Series Championship Trophy

And of course, more prizes based on attendance. This is also a BONUS event, where the amount of Series Points awarded will be multiplied by 2, meaning that the winner will receive 20 points instead of 10 points!
